This is, as you know, a global magazine, though it is Dhaka based. But it is an opinion-only magazine. The magazine currently publishes Articles, Commentaries, Editorial Views and Letters (Editor’s Letters and Letters to the Editor) with the aim to help to develop, mitigate and address social, economic, educational, political, cultural, public health, technological, environmental, international affairs and other conditions, problems and challenges across the world. Reflecting the aim, the global magazine has up until now published more than three hundred articles, commentaries, editorial views, letters and notes. Notably, the well-aimed magazine provides free access to four-fifths of its publications at present but it values its readers and has the policy to provide full free access to its publications in the near future.
It is pertinent to say that Dhaka Opinion Magazine does not publish news rather it publishes articles, commentaries, editorial views and letters with opinions/suggestions. Notably, there are thousands of excellent printed and electronic media (television channels, newspapers and magazines) in the world that broadcast and publish news but there is an absence of mainstream media that exclusively provide suggestions to address concerns, improve conditions and mitigate challenges across the world. This magazine aims to do so. But the magazine currently publishes at a limited scale. Since it is a global magazine, it does not focus on any single country. To help develop conditions, mitigate conflicts and address problems and challenges across countries more, the magazine will increase its publications soon. But the magazine needs to be made fully operational and increase its publications with a dynamic and committed editorial team.
But to make and keep the well-aimed magazine fully operational/functional with its full/complete editorial team, it needs to earn revenue consistently.
