To Whom It May Concern,

The Israel-Palestine crisis is a long crisis. This crisis has already led to several wars including the well-known Six Day War between Israel and a few Arab countries. The annexation of Israel has been continuing for decades. Moreover, there are frequent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians. Very recently, clashes erupted between the parties that resulted in missile attacks by Israeli forces over Palestinian residential buildings for days. No doubt, many efforts have been made by the United Nations, the Quartet, the European Union, the Arab League and different countries for a long to resolve the crisis. But no efforts were successful in the resolution of the crisis.

Of course, the United States is an important part of the Quartet, which was formed consisting of some other countries including Russia to resolve the Israel-Palestine crisis. Moreover, the United States has a very good relationship with Israel. Consequently, the earnest willingness and efforts of the United States can help to solve the decades-long crisis. Of course, there are several options including one-country and two-country solutions. The latter is much talked about option for the resolution of the crisis. But the extent of annexation may more justifiably support the one-country solution, even if it has some notable problems including the unwillingness of political leaders and many citizens of both countries. Though I sometimes prefer a one-country solution, it does not matter whether one country or two-country solution is finally sought. The main aspect is that the problem needs to be resolved.

No doubt, it does not seem good at all to see that there are frequent exchanges of missiles by Hamas and Israeli forces (though the former usually attacks missiles more than the latter), the Israeli annexation of Palestinian territories and the deaths of Palestinians year after year. The failure of world leaders to solve the problem seems to be unacceptable. It is, thus, desired that the USA, which have a very good relation with Israel, plays a very significant role in the mitigation of the long crisis between Israel and Palestine.
